Banff Film Festival

Greetings members and friends of the Mountain Lake Conservancy!

I wanted to share an exciting upcoming event that involves the MLC and one of our local partners, Blue Ridge Mountain Sports of Blacksburg VA. Every year, the Banff Film Festival travels the world, and thanks to BRMS, makes a one-night stop in Blacksburg. You can learn more about the Festival in general, and find U.S. tour dates here: http://www.banffcentre.ca/mountainfestival/worldtour/.

This year, the Mountain Lake Conservancy is proud to be the non-profit community partner for the Blacksburg showing! A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the MLC, and for much more than this reason, we sincerely encourage you to attend the film, especially if for the first time! In addition to cool freebies, raffle giveaways, and an overall fun community gathering, the Banff Film Festival will have you on the edge of your seats. It’s an amazing spectacle for all outdoor adventure enthusiasts (and spectators J).

More information for the Blacksburg event can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/events/367231966620890/. Advance ticket purchase it highly encouraged, as the event sells out almost every year!

Thank you for your time, we hope you have the chance to experience the Banff Film Festival! Please feel free to share this information with folks who might be interested, and don’t forget to keep up with the blog for MLC news and updates! >> http://mountainlakeconservancy.blogspot.com/
